The strips will not damage your caps. In general, I would seek out information about different sorts of teeth whitening products or methods, as chemical whiteners are known to weaken tooth enamel, depending on the strength and sort of chemicals involved. Certainly, it is not something you should consider doing often. In general, the color of teeth change throughout your life, due to the foods consumed, water and general environmental conditions.

I also had a tooth caped in the front and had the same issue. Eventually, after 20 years, I had it replaced and before I had it replaced, I got my teeth whitened at the dentist.
Reply:no it wont damage them it wont change the color or appearance of them so use away!
Reply:I do not believe that the strips will damage the porcelain, but the people on answers.yahoo probably don't know as much as your Dental Hygenist. You need to visit your dentist or call. Generally they don't recommend DIY whitening products because of the potential threat of damaging your gums. Give your doctor a call. If you really want white teeth you might consider laser whitening. It's a little pricey, but it's permanent. ONE TIME DEAL!
