I heard or getting fake teeth, but what if you need one of your molars removed, can you get a fake one to replace it?

Reply:Yes you can. You can get what is called a dental implant. It's a titantium root replacement. It's a pretty simple procedure. The dr "drills" a hole in the area and then palces the titantium implant and then it is allowed to heal for 6-8 wks and then went it has healed the dr will place an abutment Or "post" on the implant and take impressions of that to make a permant crown. Then you'l lhave a temporary crown placed on the abutment and then 3 wks later it you'll have a permant tooth. Good Luck
