i had a fake tooth put in i believe it is called a crown where the fake tooth is attached to 2 other tooths that cover the real teeth? i have had it in for over a year and i was wondering if any has had to removed them due to any problems? i always get food stuck in them and now one of them cracked a bit...

Reply:Make an appointment with your dentist to discuss these things--he/she can advise you about better care for the teeth. You may need to start using a floss "threader", which is used to "thread" the floss in between your teeth when you cannot get the floss in on your own. And the dentist can also investigate what's going on with the crack you mentioned.
