Permanent fake teeth question?

Is there a disadvantage to having permanent fake (porcelain?) teeth? I have a few really messed up teeth and the cost for getting a fake tooth put in (the kind that are attached to your jaw, instead of the kind that are removable) is about $1000 or so. The total cost for a root canal and crown is $1000-$1200.

Permanent fake teeth question?
The permanently affixed teeth (like an implant) are the way to go because the implant preserves the bone. A partial denture, bridge (bascally all removable with the exception of implant supported dentures) will allow the bone to deteriorate. Implants are slightly more expensive, but definitely worth the money!
Reply:How much are you willing to spend my friend! That%26#039;s your next resolve! sounds like you%26#039;ve done a little homework. But there really is not a disadvantage to have porcelain teeth. Veneers, are very popular, less $ also. Or there is the world of partials.
Reply:The only disadvantage I can think of is that porcelain is stronger than enamel, and it will slowly wear your opposing teeth down. Don%26#039;t worry about that though as it is quite minimal. No damage to the gums will occur or the bones cause you will still have the tooth remaining. If it is an anterior (front tooth) I would ask for an all ceramic crown, so their is no metal showing. If it%26#039;s a posterior (back tooth) it won%26#039;t matter so much. The filling for the root will be gold though.
Reply:Get the extractions done for those of your teeth that are nearly gone case. The amount you are going to pay for root canal and crown, nearly in the same expense you can get the latest immediate load implants in countries like Thailand, Dubai, India, Singapore. Google search like dental implant tours in india, etc. This way you have more options. Good Luck.
