Fake teeth question! ***?

When I was 16 I had my front teeth knocked out! Part of the two front teeth remained, so they built up on them with some sort of glue. (That is what they told me.) I'm not sure what it's really called.





Over the years they've stained and I don't really have the money to get them replaced. Can I bleach them or something? Any suggestions?

Asking your dentist would be the smartest answer but I'm almost certain you can not bleach or even whiten fake teeth. They do not have the real enamel to change their color. Call your dentist or any dentist up and they will tell you the best advice on what to do.

you can afford it. Or ask if you can pay it off over a few months.
Reply:They were built up with the same material used in white fillings..composite. They will stain over time and all u can do is replace the fillings. But a more long term solution is to have them crowned (capped) Crowns dont change in color. Sorry not much u can so that is not gonna cost u alot of money, but they are ur front teeth, get a part time job till u pay them off, it will be worth getting it done right.
Reply:you have what is called (composite) filling material placed. composite material will stain over the years and you can't bleach them or you a tooth whitener. go back to your dds and you can make payments toward the cost of the filling material. good luck, there should no problem at all. :)

Reply:My grandmother's home remedy for teeth whitening is as follows:





mix on small plate the following


1 tsp baking soda


dash of salt


then add a few drops of white vinegar, which will foam.





Then brush with toothpaste afterwards.





Believe it or not...strawberries will whiten your teeth. Rub fresh strawberry on your teeth daily and watch. A strawberry may also be mashed and applied with a tooth brush.





hey its as simple as 100% Apple Cider Vingar brush your teeth in this not only does it help to whiten your teeth your going to think you been to have them cleaned. Safe and sanitary





Pour a little bit of hyrdogen peroxide on your toothbrush and then put some baking soda on top then just brush your teeth with it. Rinse your mouth when your done. (Note: it tastes really bad and do not swallow!!!)

Reply:Get porcelain veneers. They're very thin white ceramic plates that are glued on the front of your teeth and can cover up your stains, while still looking totally natural, because they're translucent. Ask your dentist for some advice.
