I need help fake teeth question..?

I KNOW THIS MAY BE A LITTLE WEIRD BUT DID ANY ONE LOOK AT THAT SHOW ON VH1 TODAY.. ITS CALLED Little Beauties: Ultimate Kiddie Queen Showdown... IN THE SHOW THEY MENTIONED SOME THING ABOUT %26quot;Flipper%26quot; (fake teeth) fittings.. I KNOW THATS A LITTLE WEIRD BUT I WANT TO PURCHASE THEM BUT I DON%26#039;T KNOW HOW TO FIND INFORMATION ON THEM IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WILL BE VERY THANK FULL....

A flipper is like a retainer that has teeth attached to it. But that%26#039;s for people that are missing teeth. You would have to go to a dental office, they will take impressions and make it for you.
Reply:a flipper is a temporary partial denture that can fill a space - usually fairly temporary. I didn%26#039;t see the show, but flippers get used when parents don%26#039;t want Junior running around with a tooth missing ...aka beauty pageants. A pediatric dentist deals with them routinely, and any general dentist can do one for an adult. They%26#039;re cheap relative to other, more definitive treatment options.
Reply:well as the two before said a flipper is a partial appliance. they replace teeth that are missing but in the case that you are talking about it%26#039;s more then likely these girls don%26#039;t have a partial what they have are space maintainers to keep a space open for teeth coming in in the future. if they do have flippers beat the **** out of their parents for knocking out their kids teeth..beauty queen parents are a joke and should be shot on the spot for making their children fake..does anyone remember what happened to johnbene? that girl was killed cuz some sicko thought that she loved him.....but yeah it%26#039;s more then likely a space maintainer to keep the space open a pre- braces thing.
Reply:Flipper is a replacement of a one missing tooth.Lets say you have a missing tooth.You can not afford to get an implant or a bridge to replace the area.Flipper would be the cheapest way to do it.It is not the best , permanent way,but it works for some people.You can take in and out whenever you want to.I really don%26#039;t know why you want to purchase it.It is not like they sell it at the drug stores,or dentist offices.There has to be a missing tooth in your mouth.And the dentist has to take impressions of the area.Send it to the lab.To replace a missing tooth,i would recommend an implant.
